NEWSLETTER - SEPTEMBER, 2004

Below is an update of what has been happening:

NEW CD:

Lawrence has completed redording a brand new CD called "Kalamazoo or Beyond the Blue" produced by Ray Boltz and Rich Morgurgo.  This project was recorded at Ray's recording studio in Muncie, Indiana, and will be ready for release in early October.  This will be the first project of Lawrence's to be offered to a national audience and will be featured on Ray's web site, along with his own projects.

The CD features eleven of Lawrence's compostions, some old...some new.  All of the songs have fresh new arrangements.  Even the older songs feel like they've just been written.  Songs include "Kalamazoo", "Unless the Lord Builds the House", "Rise, Let Us Be Going", "I'll Get Through", "There Goes A Real Christian Man", "At the Foot of the Cross", "The Anchor Holds", "Carry On", "The Final Goodby", "I Can Do All Things" and "Holy Fire".

NEW DVD:

In addition to completing a new CD, Lawrence was invited to come to Indiana last July to videotape a concert with a live band and backukp vocalists.  This video was directed by Luke Renner, who received a Dove award nomination for directing the Gaither Homecoming Friends' tribute to Billy Graham a couple of years ago.

Lawrence's new DVD, "Live at the Off Center Garage" released in 2004,  includes live versions of "Unless the Lord Builds the House," "Kalamazoo", "Rise, Let Us Be Going," "I'll Get Through", "There Goes a Real Christian Man," "Feed My Sheep", "Holy Fire", "I Can Do All Things", "At the Foot of the Cross", "The Final Goodbye", "The Anchor Holds", and "Carry On."  A live interview includes the story behind the writing of "The Anchor Holds."

Credit Card orders for the new CD can be made through the RAY BOLTZ web site @ www.rayboltz.com

IN CONCERT WITH RAY BOLTZ:

In the last year, Lawrence was given the opportunity to appear in concert with Ray at eight of his concerts.  Last Memorial Day, he was featured on a Ray Boltz television special with the Trinity Broadcasting Network which aired all over the world.  Lawrence and Ray dueted on "At the Foot of the Cross", and Lawrence accompanied Ray on the piano to sing "The Anchor Holds".  In addition, Ray and Lawrence shared together about the night that Ray accepted Christ in 1972 at a Fisherman concert.

NEW STEP OF FAITH:

After months of prayer and seeking God's direction, Lawrence and Trish made the decision for Lawrence to quit his job at the beginning of September as an Adoption Specialist with the State of South Carolina, and launch out into full time Christian ministry again.

Trish also accepted a position earlier this year as a case manager at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in Florence.

Lawrence has begun accepting invitations to do concerts and speaking engagements.  He will be working closely with Ted Baker, Ray Boltz' tour manager, as well as booking things from his home.

If you are interested in inviting Lawrence to come to your church or organization, please contact Lawrence via e-mail from this site, or Ted Baker at tbaker9037@aol.com.

GOD BLESS YOU!
